Appoinment Scheduling Details
Doctors hours are by appointment. Appointments may he scheduled by phoning our office during regular business hours at 347-1219. Scheduling on an appointment basis allows us to ensure ample time for your pet. Please understand that emergencies do arise that may occasionally delay an appointment. We strive to be on time and a phone call is appreciated if you are running late or need to reschedule.

Facilities and Equipment

PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE
The doctors and staff of Onslow Animal Hospital desire to keep our clients up-to-date on the latest advances in preventative health care. At our hospital, emphasis is placed on the physical examination enabling the doctor to formulate a preventative health care program that best fits your pet's life-style. Client education is an essential component of a pets annual physical examination.

LABORATORY
We have the ability to perform roost routine diagnoses laboratory procedures in our on-site laboratory with results available the same day in most cases. For those tests that need to be sent to a diagnostic laboratory, results are usually available to us within 24-48 hours.

SURGERY
We pride ourselves on having a top quality, advanced surgery suite. We perform a wide range of surgical procedures, and we utilize advanced technological equipment including laser. We utilize comprehensive monitoring equipment and have a veterinary technician assigned to each patient undergoing anesthesia.

RADIOLOGY
We have a complete in-house radiology department and have state of the art Ultrasound equipment. We have the diagnostic tools that are required to evaluate your pet's health issue.

DENTAL HEALTH
We believe that proper dental care is essential to your peg's overall health. We offer complete dental exams and cleanings. Ask one of our team members about a teeth cleaning for your pet. Your pet will be on their way to a healthier life.

PHARMACY
We have an extensively stocked pharmacy with a wide inventory of antibiotics and therapeutic medications, We also carry a wide variety of prescription diets, flea and tick prevention as well as heartworm prevention.

SPECIALISTS
Referrals to specialists iii the fields of veterinary ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedics, surgery, internal medicine are also available through Onslow Animal Hospital.

BOARDING AND GROOMING
We also offer boarding for your pet at the hospital or at our boarding facility, Four Seasons Pet Care, located directly behind the hospital. Each dog has its own individual run. Cats are placed in individual cages in a room reserved only for cats. Fresh water and food are provided at all times. Each run or cage is cleaned several times daily to ensure a sanitary environment. The kennel area is well ventilated and has central air and heat. For your convenience we also offer nail trims and baths for your pet.
