Dr. Sheegog
Dr. Robert Sheegog is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sheegog opened Onslow Animal Hospital in June of 1982. He is a native of Jacksonville, where he resides with his wife Angi, daughter Ella, son Ben, two dogs (Lola and Blaise), and four cats (Splat, Seymour, Plank, and Chester). He serves on the Board of Trustees of Coastal Carolina Community College, as well as on the Board of Directors of First Citizens Bank. He is a member of the Jacksonville New River Rotary Club and the First Presbyterian Church. In his free time he enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Fuchs
Dr. Fuchs is a graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She also holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology and a master's degree in biomedical sciences. Originally from the east coast, Dr. Fuchs is glad to make her home here, near the beautiful North Carolina coastline. She resides in Jacksonville with her husband Otto (who is also her high school sweetheart) and two cherished dogs, Yuri and Brock. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking with her dogs, working with wildlife, and completing a number of arts and crafts projects.
Dr. Passmore
Dr. Liz Passmore grew up in Maryland and graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She began work as a veterinarian at a small animal hospital in her hometown where she previously worked in the kennel and as a technician. In early 2020 she moved to North Carolina with her husband, two young children, cat, and two dogs. In the past she enjoyed team sports and hiking with her dogs, Laney and Reagan. Two small children and an aging dog make hiking more difficult but the family loves the beach and exploring the local parks. She also enjoys horseback riding when she gets the chance.
Dr. Eaton
Dr. Eaton is a graduate from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal sciences from the University of Vermont. Dr. Eaton relocated to the beautiful Carolina Coast from the northeast and cannot imagine living anywhere else. Dr. Eaton has three dogs and one cat. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing, hiking, and relaxing on the beach.
